There is currently no easy way on the dashboard way to edit a collection’s metadata using the “data” field, as is done in this cookbook example.
I have to resort to using the shell. I’ve made a UDF to make updating collection metadata easier, but still, I feel like this should be an innate feature of the dashboard.
The new version of FQL X and the dashboard (currently in beta) floats up terms in the data field so this is not required anymore. No collection data changes are required - we’ve made any query to data “backwards compatible”.
